What is ABS? ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), is a common thermoplastic used to make light, rigid, molded products such as piping, golf club heads, automotive body parts, wheel covers, protective head gear, suitcases, etc. The most amazing mechanical properties of ABS are resistance and toughness. ABS can also be chromium plated just like a part made from steel. It is easily polished to an incredibly smooth surface.
